Worship services are on Sundays and Thursdays.

Regular Services

Sunday 8.00am Holy Eucharist (Rite I)

This service uses the more traditional Rite 1 liturgy.

Sunday 10.00 am Holy Eucharist (Rite II) / Family Service

The family service uses the more contemporary Rite 2 liturgy. This service includes songs for all to sing, with music from our choir and musicians.

Thursday 9.30am Holy Eucharist

This is an informal  gathering.

All are welcome.

There is a coffee hour/social time after each Sunday service.

Christian Education - Sundays

Adult Education (9-9:45 am) Fall,Winter & Spring

Adult Education addresses a wide variety of topics. It is focused on spiritual growth in a small group setting. Childcare is available by prior arrangement in St. James' Hall.

Sunday School (9:45 am)

Our Sunday School program uses the Godly Play curriculum. The children join us in church during the Peace, the time we take to greet each other before Holy Communion. Group activity during Summer.

Children at the Family Service

At the family service, our children return from Sunday school to join us for Holy Communion. Your children may also stay in church with you if you prefer. Kids and parents are a cherished part of our church family. On occasions, the family service is an intergenerational service, conducted in a slightly more kid-friendly manner. On these occasions, all the kids stay for the entire service.

For families with very young children, nursery care is available at the 10:30 service.

Lake Hills Covenant

The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, and St. Louise Roman Catholic church make up the Lake Hills Covenant Churches. The three churches hold regular joint services (Palm Sunday, Thanksgiving Eve) and other joint events.
